My name is Connor Markey, and I am a Freelance Journalist with around two years of experience in the industry, including my time as a student journalist. This website serves as an archive for some of my best college journalism as well as a place for me to publish any independent work in the future. My first professional foray into the journalism world began in June of 2023 when I took on an internship position for my a local newspaper, The New Canaanite, a publication I still contribute to on a freelance basis. While in college, I served as the Editor-in-Chief for Lynn University’s newspaper, iPulse, also going on to reach the Dean’s List in that same year. Outside of my professional life, I am an avid writer hoping to publish my first novel sometime in the near future, as well as a chef, snowboarder, and bassist.
